Christmas is the best time of year. Chloe is so excited about it this year and it is Maximus' first Christmas. I am really looking forward to Christmas morning with both of them, it is going to be the best part of this whole Christmas season. Today we went to see Santa Claus, and although I am not able to post that pictures for a while, it was pretty funny. Maximus is really amused by Santa, he just stared at him in awe. Chloe on the other hand, does not like him at all. She likes all pictures of him and decorations of him, but not Santa in human form. We tried to bribe her with a candy cane and all kinds of things, but we were unsuccessful. So in order to get the picture, for the memories, Brant and I had to be in the picture keeping her as far away from Santa as we possibly could. But I absolutely love the picture. It will be fun to look back at it in about 15 years and remember the whole day vividly.

Well I wanted it to get cold and it did. The funny part is that Brant and I were Christmas shopping less than a week ago and it was 81 degrees outside. And now there is snow everywhere!! It is gorgeous! Dad and Brant built this delightful snowman, and I named him Sammy. I love him! He is so cute!

Later that day we had Brant's company Christmas party down in Del Mar, California. So our friends Tom & Melissa rode down with us. Fortunately, we had them with us. We had a lot of fun. The food was great and of course Brant won a prize, a free rental car for 6 days plus a $50 gas card. He was pretty excited!! Can you tell?!?!

Christmas Parties

So this weekend was a little crazy with 2 Christmas parties in the same day. Saturday morning we had our Women's Christmas Party at church, so Chloe and I made it a girls day for us. I had a lot of fun with her, she makes a great date. I love spending time with her. She is getting so big, and is starting to act like a little girl instead of a baby now. It's crazy!! The picture of me by myself is one that she took. I was rather impressed with how well it turned out.
